Trunk or Treat

Saturday night was the ward Trunk or Treat and I really didn't want to miss it so grandma stayed home with Zoey while Grandpa and I took the kids to the trunk of treat. Doug was coming from work and was a little little late. Martin was dressed as his T-Rex, Roxie was going to be a fairy but due to a new baby I wasn't able to get the wings done so Roxie just wore a tutu, Doug came as Indiana Jones and I wore this 60's dress I found at goodwill a few weeks ago for 2$.
The kids had a fun night going car to car but after a while Roxie decided she was done and wanted grandpa Bremner to hold her. Once we got home Martin wanted to eat all of his Candy while Roxie wanted to go to bed.

How to sum up one week

How to sum up the first week home from the hospital. Grateful for grandpa for taking Martin to and from preschool all week and getting him dressed in his Halloween costume. Dad for being the hero and finding Martin's T-Rex costume after going to three Targets and several costume stores. Grandpa and Dad decorating cookies for Martin's preschool while Grandma and I went shopping. Have extra hands to hold Zoey when Roxie needed some mommy time. Thankful for Grandma's wonderful cooking. Thankful for my wonderful husband who made breakfast every morning so I could enjoy a few extra mins or hour of sleeping before facing the day.
I'm so grateful for my wonderful family who has helped with the adjustment of little Zoey and I almost feel lost with the thought of them leaving.

Zoey Temperance Wimmer

Early Saturday morning I woke up with contractions but I kept thinking it was false labor. Well the "False Labor" was getting so bad I couldn't breathe so I finally woke Doug up at 4am and first thing is asked was how far apart they were and being completely out of it I said I only had 4 an hour and Doug looked at my phone with the contraction counter and it said 14 an hour and they were 3 mins apart. So I woke up my parents and said we were heading to the hospital. Once were arrived depending on who was checking me I was either 5-6 or solid 7. Since I need antibiotics my labor was slowed down and Zoey was Born at 12:11pm and
weight 8lbs 2ozs and 20 3\4 inches.

More to come

Update on Pregnancy.....Still Pregnant

After a week long of painful off and on contractions and what I have been told effacing also painful all I can say is the baby is trying to test my patience.
I went to my OB on Monday and with a crazy thought I would get in fast. HAHAHAH I didn't see my doctor until 11:20 my appointment was set for 10:20. After some time I found out I am 75% effaced and 3 centimeters. (Gained a totally of 40lbs CRAZY) He was very excited I was making such good progress but was a little shocked I hadn't gone into labor yet. Well that makes 2 of us. My doctor kept reminding me the more I can dilated and efface now the less work I will have to do at the hospital. Sounds great while you are sitting at a doctors office but still once I left and the contractions started again I realized this little one is going to take her pretty little time to get here. (Which I am sure her Grandpa and Grandma Bremner are very grateful.)
He also wants me to put my feet up because they are so swollen and he informed me he would have a little sent to my office to explain "I needed to start my Maternity leave now or I would need to keep my feet up." I explained "I'm pretty sure a 4 year old and 22 month old are not going to read the letter but I will try and explain."
The picture of Roxie is from the other day when she decided to pull Martin's clean underwear out of the diaper bag and wear it. She did however finally get the underwear on the correct way and talked about wanting to go potty and only wear the big boy underwear.
Another funny story.... Roxie was with Grandpa Wimmer Saturday night waiting for Martin and Grandma Wimmer to come home and take them to dinner. Roxie came into Grandpa's room and asked to go swimmer and Grandpa said no its to cold. She than left the room and came back in with her diaper off trying to up on her swimsuit by herself. All I know is this little girl doesn't take NO of an answer EVER!!

Few Things I thought I Left Behind in MN

When I left Austin Mn 8 or is it 9 years ago there were a few things I would NEVER miss
1. The very cold Winters
2. Mosquito's
Since becoming pregnant for some reason the curse of the evil mosquito has fallen upon me. Every morning I wake up to new mosquito bites from the top of my legs even to the very bottom of my feet mosquito's have found me to be very tasty and no matter how many of those EVIL bugs I kill more seem to find my feet very tasty to the point I can't even wear my favorite shoe choice flip flops.
I am pretty sure the reason we are having mosquito issues is because a few houses down the were given a notice to clean out their green pool or pay a fine. Green pools = LOTS of mosquito's. I am hoping this little princess decides to come soon and my blood becomes less tasty because I am going to itch to death otherwise.

Side note this little baby Zoey seems to think that my spine is a trampoline and her little feet are always pushing on my ribs or my spine. 2 Weeks and 1 day to go until my dues date. I have a pretty busy next two week because I am trying to keep my mind off of being HUGE and PREGNANT! The other night I was looking at my tummy in the mirror and I truly believe she thinks my belly button is the way out. I have never sat so high or had my tummy sick so far out with the other two pregnancies. I didn't believe my doctor when he said "Ever pregnancy is different." I'm a believer now.

Rainy Days brings fall weather to Arizona

Last week we had rain for two days and it was AMAZING. Martin was amazed at how much it rained and hail the size of large marbles all over the backyard and Roxie was very upset because I wouldn't let her go outside and roll around in the muddle puddles.
Arizona is starting its fall weather with cool mornings and evenings and warm days that most would think is summer weather. We are all just happy to get out of the 100's

Pregnancy Update, Roxie Update and my artist Martin

Well I am 36 weeks and had my first one week appointment. Why do I have to go ever week the baby is going to come when she is ready and personally I do not have time to sit in my doctors office for 40 mins waiting to see him for 10 mins or not at all.
I have some news but nothing that is going to change the world as we know it yet. I am 50% effaced and .75 dilated or as she called it at finger tip. The baby is still sitting very high and trust me I KNOW. The only reason I am so happy is because I have had tons of contractions this last few weeks and some pain. It feels good to know it wasn't for nothing. With Roxie I was having the same pains and nothing was happening until Amanda did her voodoo and she came three days early.
Anyone see a trend? Martin three weeks, Roxie three days and Zoey will she come three hours early? Who knows.
Do I think she will come early like Martin? NOPE and I hope she doesn't because I am really not ready for her to arrive I still need to go shopping for Diapers, home coming outfit and a baby book so I can have her foot prints in the book.
So that is my update!!

Martin is loving preschool. Thank heavens he does because I am not sure if I could make that drive three days a week if I didn't think it was worth it. (40mins round trip.) Martin made the frame and drew a picture of himself. The cutie part is that he told me the circle is his "Bladder and its full." He than told his dad it was his yellow shirt.

I however almost forgot to add that Roxie is starting to sit on the potty without a diaper and up until yesterday she hadn't done anything but play. Yesterday she went screaming past me saying "I NEED TO GO POTTY." I took her to the bathroom and about 15 mins later she had peed a little. We are very excited that Roxie is showing an interest in the potty and could only hope this keeps progressing.

Roxie the talking Queen

Roxie loves walking around in shoes and right now she loves her dad's shoes.
Roxie found a picture of Doug and I and she walked around the house for 20 mins saying "I LOVE YOU DADDY."
The other morning Roxie walked up to her dad and started Dancing to the Song "ALPHABET of NATIONS." Martin didn't want to feel left out so he started to dance too.
