Grandma and Pa Bremner's Visit in May

Just a few pictures of Grandma and pa Bremner visit in May.

What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies. ~Rudolph Giuliani

Utlrasound Photos

For the First time I could tell it was a girl!

She was Yawning

I'm trying to upload the ultrasound photos with little Miss Diva dying for attention right now.
So Cody tried really hard to get some good shots of baby girl but she is a mover. I personally think these photos turned out really well and now we only need to decided on a name.
For the first time baby girl's measurement are all showing at 20 weeks and four days expect for the head and that is showing at 21 weeks. No big surprise have you seen the size of heads on the Wimmers side and the Bremners. BIG HEAD!
We are very happy to have another girl and a very healthy pregnancy.

Martin D. 4th Birthday

Where do I start? Saturday June 19th we celebrated Martins 4th birthday with success.
Doug made cardboard truck, sports car, A-Team van, space ship and SUV for each of the kids to race in the backyard but the kids enjoyed playing bummer cars instead of racing. I had made driver licenses for each of the kids because "You can not drive a car without a driver license." According to Martin. I also made license plates that each of the kids were able to color and put on their cars. Roxie enjoyed coloring her license plate and face. Last but not lest in true Arizona style we had a Lighting McQueen Pinata and the kids loved all the candy and treats. It was so much fun getting together with all of our family and friends. I personally enjoyed watching Martin play with all of this friends or "Best Buds."

Boy or Girl

Today Doug, Martin, Roxie, Grandma Wimmer and I went to our friends and had our official 20 week ultrasound.
"BOY OR GIRL is the question" or at lest that is what Martin like to say. I have never been able to read an ultrasound in my life but this time I kind of knew what we were looking for and for the first time I could tell right away because she wasn't shy.... WAIT did I say SHE? Yes that's right we are having a little girl!!
The Queen bee is going to have to share the title!! We are having a mover and a shaker!! This little baby girl is strong and during the ultrasound she wouldn't stop moving long enough to get the profile picture. Even Cody who does ultrasounds for a living was surprise to see how much she moved around. At one point she was yawning and than another time she had her finger enter twined! She loves to kick when something is in her space.
We haven't picked a name yet and I am hoping to use Temperance as a middle name because it is a family name and well its a long story but ever since we went to the Connett Cemetery in Athens Ohio I have always felt a strong connection to Temperance Price. Call me CRAZY!!

I will have pictures in the next few days but I just wanted to let everyone know of our exciting news!!

Let The Week Long Celebration Begin.....

Martin turns 4 years old on Saturday the 19th of June! Every day he asked me "how are things going?" "Are we having Carrot Cake with green frosting with green sprinkles?" "Are you making cars to drive?" He has been planning his birthday party since Roxie turned 1 years.
Martin has always wanted to do things his way and I should have realized he was going to be my little controller. He came three weeks early, talked early, had more teeth in his mouth by one years old than the doctors expected. He is always doing things his way and when he is ready. Sometimes it causes a little stress but when he is ready for his adventures to begin he is so much fun. I can't imagine our little family with out Martin. He has brought so much joy, laughter and love into our home and I hope for it to never change.

(Yes all the photos are of Martin. Martin and Roxie look so much alike in certain pictures I have to label who is who in the photo.)

I'm not one to talk about books I have read on my blog because I mainly want to write about the kids. That being said I finished the book Hunger Game in one afternoon and poor Roxie and Martin learned that even if mom is in the room she really isn't there.
A friend of mine had just finished the book and recommend it to me and I decided i was tired of reading the same type of books and wanted to shake things up. From the moment I read chapter 3 I couldn't put the book down. It makes you think if I was in her shoes would I do the same thing knowing what would or could happen to me. Would you protect the ones you love even if it cost you your life or would you let them go?
I really enjoyed the book and I can't wait to borrow book 2. I know I will end up buying the set because I think it is something I would want Roxie and Martin to read at some point.
After Doug came home I told him all about the book and how much I enjoyed the story and couldn't put it down. He than recommend me to read Running Man by Stephen King (He writes under a different name)he said the story was similar. So next stop Running Man and than book 2. I love reading and I think Roxie has developed of love for reading as well.
