I'm not one to talk about books I have read on my blog because I mainly want to write about the kids. That being said I finished the book Hunger Game in one afternoon and poor Roxie and Martin learned that even if mom is in the room she really isn't there.
A friend of mine had just finished the book and recommend it to me and I decided i was tired of reading the same type of books and wanted to shake things up. From the moment I read chapter 3 I couldn't put the book down. It makes you think if I was in her shoes would I do the same thing knowing what would or could happen to me. Would you protect the ones you love even if it cost you your life or would you let them go?
I really enjoyed the book and I can't wait to borrow book 2. I know I will end up buying the set because I think it is something I would want Roxie and Martin to read at some point.
After Doug came home I told him all about the book and how much I enjoyed the story and couldn't put it down. He than recommend me to read Running Man by Stephen King (He writes under a different name)he said the story was similar. So next stop Running Man and than book 2. I love reading and I think Roxie has developed of love for reading as well.

  2. You have read so many books it's hard to keep up with what you have read. I'm rereading the Bourn books but I need something easy to read. I'm going back to ur blog and see what other books I should try... I'm joining a book club after school starts in august! I'm so excited!!
