Tears, Excitment and wanting Martin
If there were no schools to take the children away from home part of the time, the insane asylums would be filled with mothers. ~Edgar W. Howe
Today was Martins first day of school. We left the house a little after 7:30 and walked to Sanborn Elementary school for the first day of school. As we got closer Martin started to hold my hand but seemed very excited. I tired so very hard not to cry and when I started to I turned around to see Bev from my ward and she said "I have sent three boy to the MTC it doesn't get an easier." The tears stopped and she made me soak every second as he walked though the doors. Doug, Roxie, Zoey and I walked home and after a few mins Roxie started to ask "I want my Martin." She is really going to miss Martin.
I will confess I cried when Martin picked out his backpack, and I cried at the store while I bought his food for his lunches and I cried thinking this might be the end of my random hugs and I loves you he is so good at. I realized it is true time flies when you are having fun.
Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school. ~Albert Einstein

The older they get...they don't come home after school anymore only for dinner because I will take everything they love away if they don't(cell phone). And they don't need you anymore. Its a good thing for them but hard for a mom to handle at times.
