Baby Girl Wimmer has a Name

Before I tell you the name here is the very cutie story that goes behind the baby name.
A few weeks ago we were in the kitchen having Breakfast and I asked Martin what do you want to name your sister? Lucy, Jordan or Zoe(Zoey or Zooey)Martin looked at me and said Zoe. I said are you sure you don't like Lucy? I love Lucy do you love Lucy? He said its a nice name but the baby name is Zoe and I said why? Because I know that is her name. I was stunned and Doug had just brought Roxie down from bed and I said "Roxie should we name your sister Jordan, Zoe or Lucy?" She looked at her dad and than me and said "ZOE." I couldn't believe it.

Yes I understand that naming the baby is up to Doug and I but when both your kids decided her name is Zoe without us talking about baby names around them how can you pick another name. I know you will not believe it Grandma Bremner but the only time he heard Zoe for the baby name was during the 4th of July and maybe in passing here or there and I'm pretty sure he heard Lucy or Jordan more than Zoe.
At the moment Baby girl Wimmer is going to Zoe(Zoey or Zooey) Temperance Wimmer. Martin wants to spell it Zooey. Good thing Mom and Dad have the last say on spelling.

Martin has been telling everyone his baby sisters name is going to be Zoe Temperance Wimmer and he tells everyone he named her.

Weeks GoodWill Dress and Tummy shot!

So what do you think of my Halloween Costume? Martin has decided to be a T-Rex! About two weeks ago we(FAMILY)were trying to figure out how to make Disney Phineas and Ferb costume to now I am going to buy Martin green P.J. and Make a T-Rex tail for Halloween. At lest I know how to sew. :)
I'm off to the doctors for my last two week appointment tomorrow morning and I'm positive everything will be the same expect for the increase of weight. We are taking bets in the Wimmer household to see when Little Girl Wimmer will be born Martin has picks Sept 25th (TOO EARLY) and October 25th. I picked Nov. 4th because I am almost positive this little one is going to be late and Doug has yet to pick a date.

What do you think will be my due date? Three weeks early with the first and three days early with the second.

Some rewards programs are worth the hype.

The other day I went out with a girl friend to hang out and I mention what a dream it would be if you could get free Godiva Chocolate like Sees Candy does. She said one word that change my chocolate life forever. "Yes" you just sign up for their free rewards program and you get a free chocolate once a month when you visit the store.
Sounds Heavenly to me because I do not need a Godiva chocolate more than once a month. It surprises me ever day how the little things in life make me so VERY VERY happy.

I give you MARTIN!!

Best laugh of the morning:
Martin looks at the tag on his underwear and tells Doug that the tag says, "Keeps the buns and wiener in". We had no idea the tags were so verbose.

This morning he was bouncing off the walls and excited for preschool. I on the other hand was tired from not sleeping and was not excited for the drive. As we were pulling out another car decided he didn't want to turn right and cut me off. I was not in the mood being tired and I yelled " Stupid car." Martin answered back saying "Mom the car isn't that bad word its the person in it."

Martin once informed me that the bottle of shampoo said " To clean feet and not body because I do not want to take a bath. Only my feet are dirty."

If you are wondering he comes up with all of this on his own.

Goodwill 50% off Days

Saturday night was date night for Doug and I and since most movies that I would like to see gives me nightmares when I am pregnant Doug and I decided to go to Goodwill and see what gems we could find on there 50% off day. Normally we find Doug some really fun jackets and other fun clothes to wear and I figured there is no way they would have maturity clothes but we decided to look and to my surprise they had a decent amount of tops and bottoms. It was all from Motherhood which is the store I normally buy my tops. We found two tops and a very funky 1970's dress for Halloween. We also found Roxie a really pretty pink dress, a pair of shoes that have have never been worse from Naturalizer high heels for $4 and a vest for Doug.
Its funny some times the most fun dates are when Doug and I are just hanging out.
I promise to post pictures of me in the dress because it just that AWESOME!!

I would shop at D.I but they are little expensive and they never have a 50% off day.

The Little Things in Life

Recently I have been really tired from not sleeping and the baby kicking or the hiccups around 3:30am to around 5am every single morning. So finding the simple things in life has been really hard to do until Tuesday. Like every morning I was fighting with Martin to eat his breakfast and Roxie was throwing food off of her try and I finally just sat down and gave up until I looked outside to see 20+ bird bathing themselves in our puddle left from watering the backyard. It was so much fun to watch and I could have spent all morning watching the birds bath, swim and look for food and it put a smile on my very tired face.
During the week I saw my first praying mantis just hanging out on our screen. Martin was so excited and I have to admit so was I. I have always seen pictures of a praying Mantis but to see one up close is a whole other story. Than this morning the kids and I went out to play for the first time in a while because of the heat and what did Martin and I find not one but two Praying Mantis hanging on the wall eating food. They are amazing insects and really a lot of fun to watch. We also have seem more and more gecko's running around on the back wall. Its amazing what I have missed seeing in the morning because I can barely keep my eyes open.
I am trying to take time to enjoy the little things in life from birds, to bugs, to listen to Roxie telling me the same knock knock joke over and over again. I have found when I take time to enjoy life I seem to smile more and frown less.

Week Two of Preschool

Martin is loving ever second of Preschool and every morning he wakes up excited to do his homework and go to preschool. Roxie on the other hand doesn't like Martin going to preschool. Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we climb into the car drive into Mesa and drop Martin off and every morning she cried for her mar-tin. She will cry all the way home (15 mins drive) or once we get to grandmas (down the street) she stops but she will wander around the house looking for her mar-tin. After Roxie and I pick up Martin from preschool she will either hold his hand all the way home or give him a big hug and kiss.
Roxie and Martin are good friend even though she picks on him. When one is gone the other one will look for them until they are found. They have such a sweet relationship that I hope will never change.

To the outside world, we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time.
